Mark S. Smith, MD, FACC, is a 1977 graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed is Internal Medicine residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, as well as fellowships in Cardiology, Clinical Pharmacology, and Clinical Electrophysiology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.
Dr. Smith is Board Certified by the American board of Internal Medicine in both Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine, with a Certificate of Special Qualifications in Cardiovascular Disease. He is also a member of the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology, and a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, with an examination of special competency in Cardiac Pacing.
Dr. Smith began practicing at Munson Medical Center in 1989, and has privileges at Alpena General Hospital. He is a member of Great Lakes Cardiology, PC.
